A recent visit to the home of a family living with disability opened our eyes to living conditions that are far from adequate. Behind their strength and resilience in facing physical limitations lies the harsh reality of the home they live in every day.
The house, which serves as their only shelter, is currently in a very concerning condition:

Unsafe and Inadequate Building Structure
Cracked walls, leaking roofs in several areas, and damp dirt floors pose serious safety risks to the family. -
Poor Hygiene and Sanitation
Limited access to clean water and inadequate waste and sanitation facilities have left the surrounding environment dirty and poorly maintained. -
Health Risks
High humidity, poor ventilation, and accumulated dust and dirt increase the risk of respiratory and skin-related illnesses, particularly for vulnerable family members.
Our Plan to Help
The Beagood team plans to visit Putu Surya Dinata and his family to provide essential assistance and help improve their living conditions.
Sanitation and Hygiene Improvements
We will provide essential cleaning supplies, improve access to clean water, and renovate the bathroom and sanitation facilities.
Support for Basic Needs
We will provide essential food supplies, as well as more suitable and hygienic bedding and sleeping necessities.
Simple Home Renovations
We will also carry out basic repairs and renovations to improve the safety, cleanliness, and comfort of their home.
Through this initiative, we hope to create a safer, cleaner, and more dignified living environment for Putu Surya Dinata and his family—giving them not only practical support, but also a new hope for a better life.
